They use OEM part numbers and supply generics without indication on site. Unlike other sites they only indicate if the part is OEM.They do not process returns for anything less than $20.00.Their site menu when used to find parts for specific indications is difficult to use and may not return the right part. In my case the o-ring for the 3 hp waterco pump rather than the 2 hp pump - the description just said o-ring for the pump without hp indication.
There is one seal which fits all of the pumps.5 - 2.5 hp and one which fits only the 3 hp. The search only returns the 3 hp o-ring with no hp distinction.

Their only explanation was 'believe me it is made up of the same chemical'. That's like buying a brand name medication and once you have made the purchase they tell you that you got a genetic brand. As a customer you are left with a feeling of deceit and cheat. These guys have some guts, instead of taking their stuff back and reimbursing my money or even give you a discount. They have the guts of telling to spend $150 and they will discount $10. What a insult. Read the BBB review.
There is a whole bunch of clients that have been deceived and cheated like by the Pool Supply World.Be careful, they hide their cheat and deceit behind a supposed disclosure I can't find. My card was charged for my full order. When the order didn't arrive on delivery date, I called to inquire. Rep couldn't give me any info about my order and only placed an inquiry email stating they would investigate and let me know. Hours later I received part of my order, then days later I received an email stating the rest of my order could not be filled. Then of course it was over a week before I received a refund. Poor communication, poor way of doing business, poor and untrue website advertising.
Not interested in using a company that false advertises and uses my money! If the Techinical representatives had considered the Tech information that I relayed to them, I would have received the proper motor! Instead I have to go thru sending pictures of my return and huge delays!!!
The good news is that I contacted your pool motor vendor and they gave me the appropriate pool motor information and I am awaiting arrival of a new pool motor from you folks So much for your technical help!!! Had to go to your vendor!!! Your technical people should have been able to help me otherwise why would they have a technical position!!!
